Booster Groups

There are several organizations that work hard to benefit our school! NHS PTO encourages you to support these organizations by volunteering your time, donating financially, and/or attending events sponsored by the following groups.

Northampton Musical Booster Club

NMBC is a non-profit, 501(c)3, parent volunteer organization established to provide a structure for publicity, fundraising and for coordinating all volunteer efforts–all of which make it possible for NHS to produce brilliant, high-quality musicals. NORTHAMPTON ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB (NABC)

The Northampton Athletic Booster Club (NABC) is back and we need your help!  NABC is a volunteer run, nonprofit organization with the mission to provide financial support and enhance community spirit for all Northampton High School Athletics. We are comprised of NHS caretakers, teachers, coaches, students, and community members.  All money raised through NABC organized events are used to supplement the Northampton High School Athletic Department’s budget and meet the needs of all student athletes.  For more information or to help out, please email hampboosters@gmail.com.

NORTHAMPTON EDUCATION FOUNDATION (NEF)

NEF was founded in 1991 to fund projects and programs that expand educational opportunities, foster creativity, and enhance academic experiences in Northampton’s public schools. NEF awards grants for teacher-initiated projects that are made possible by annual donations from the community. VOLUNTEERS IN NORTHAMPTON SCHOOLS (VINS)

Volunteers in Northampton Schools, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization, founded in 1981, whose mission is to provide volunteers in all of Northampton’s public schools. The purpose of volunteer involvement in the schools is to supplement and enrich the curriculum offerings at the direction of the professional staff. The volunteer participation of parents and community members is widely recognized to be a significant factor in the quality of education. VINS’ mission is to provide volunteers in all of Northampton’s public schools to supplement and to supplement and enrich the curriculum offerings at the direction of the professional staff. NORTHAMPTON HIGH SCHOOL PARENT TEACHER ORGANIZATION (NHS PTO)

The PTO works to help create the best possible learning environment for our students. The PTO works to enhance communication between school and home by maintaining this website, maintaining an email list and posting occasional announcements, publishing the Hamp Highlights e-newsletter, and producing the school directory. The PTO also raises funds to provide financial support for educational enrichment programs, technology upgrades, and other needs that are not covered by the school budget.
