Wifi access is a privilege and luxury to have at NHS to support classroom education. It enhances classroom experiences and the learning process. Like any system there are capabilities that can be exceeded and when the max level is reached there are consequences. Our wifi system reaches its peak capacity of bandwidth use during third period, due to student use, especially of gaming, audio and video streaming sites, during lunch. The result is a slowing down, and at times, shut down of other internet access across the district. A solution needs to be found to resolve the impact on district internet access. We are asking all students to refrain from using WIFI for gaming, audio and video streaming during 3rd period. We need you to be part of the solution not the problem.
