Congratulations to two award-winning history authors, Eva Gerstle and Emily Dinh, for their fine performances in the Central-Western Massachusetts Regional History Day Competition. Eva’s paper, Art, Activism, and AIDS, placed second in the competition, and Emily’s paper, The Impact of Korematsu v. the U.S and Activism Efforts, earned a third place finish. Both girls will now compete in the State History Day competition, with a chance to compete in the National History Day Competition at the University of Maryland in College Park.
