National Merit Scholarship Update
Because NHS and other high schools were unable to offer the PSAT this year due to the school closures, the National Merit Scholarship Corporation has offered alternate entry into the program via the options in the link below:
Sojourner Truth Memorial Scholarship
DEADLINE: April 19, 2021
- Information about Sojourner Truth and applications are also on our website: www.sojournertruthmemorial.org/scholarship/application
- We have increased the amount of the award from $1000 to $ 1,500 and plan to award three or more scholarships.
- One or more scholarships will be awarded to a high school senior from Hampshire County if appropriate applications are received.
- Seniors are encouraged to apply, especially those who have initiated projects, or those active in clubs, that promote social justice work to increase human rights, promote diversity, reduce injustice, and/or work to end violence, bullying, racism and discrimination or other causes.
