Student Union

We are now in the midst of course selection for next year, and with that, we hope you can look forward to all the new opportunities available for next year. With some sports teams now in their fourth week of practice and approaching the first game/meet/match we just wanted to let everyone know we are grateful to all the athletes and coaches who have made this season possible and are continuing to make sure that we all stay safe and healthy. We hope you are as excited about this season as we are.

The student union would like to make a request for students. We ask that anyone who feels comfortable doing so please put their pronouns as part of their name on Zoom. This simple act can make people feel more comfortable and confident when addressing you.

For anyone who would like to talk with the student union, we will be holding Office Hours once a month in addition to our regular bi-weekly student union meetings. Office Hours will be specifically meant for students to voice their opinions, concerns, and ask any questions they may have. These meetings would have a member from each grade level so people can feel more comfortable sharing their thoughts. If you are unable to attend any of our meetings, be it the bi-weekly full student union meeting or the monthly informal meeting specifically meant to hear from students, you can always contact one of your class representatives or use the SU email address studentunion@stu.northampton-k12.us. We are here for the students and therefore want to make sure that your voices are heard.

If you would like to share any concerns, suggestions, or ideas regarding our high school community, you are welcome to come to our meetings which are on the first and third Thursdays of the month from 6:30-8:00 PM.
