Yes, the annual NHS Poetry Slam is happening!
Students, submit a video of you reading an original poem you wrote. You can produce the video with or without you in it, in front of a black screen or picture – however you are most comfortable.
Don’t forget to include your name and the title of your poem, along with something about yourself, and submit your video with this form.
The due date for submissions is Friday, May 21. There will be a live showing of the videos on Wednesday, May 26 … details to follow.
We hope to have parents and students come to listen and enjoy some of the amazing work our students produce and really want to bring back the slam from our previous years as the energy and sense of community for students to have a safe space to share their work is what the Slam is all about.
