COLLEGE REP VISITS

All visits are virtual this fall..

A good way to learn more about a college that you’re interested in is through a College Rep Visit. Back in the olden days of pre-2020, NHS would host more than 75 admission representatives from colleges all over the country and have them meet with seniors and juniors who wanted to learn more about their school. Like everything else, things are still being done a little differently, but hopefully just as enriching and informative. All of our college visits will be done virtually again this year and you can find the list of appointments in your Naviance either under “What’s New” on the home page or in the College section there is a tab called “College Visits”. In order to get the link for the meetings, you will need to register for the visit through your Naviance account.

Awesome. How do I register?

To register for a College Rep Visit, students will need to log onto their Naviance and either scroll to bottom of the Home page and find the What’s New section OR they can click on Colleges at the top, and then College Visits. Registration will close an hour before the start time and you must be registered in order for your absence to be excused by your classroom teacher. Speaking of your classroom teacher, you should also check in with them to make sure you’re not missing something important in class that day. If you cannot make a visit, the College Rep’s name, and many times email, is listed when you click into the Details of the visit.

If you have any questions – please reach out to Ms. Sullivan
