Hi everyone,
First, I wanted to remind all that registration is open for winter sports and the deadline to register is Monday November 22nd. You can register at the following link: https://www.familyid.com/organizations/northampton-high-school-athletics
For directions to complete the concussion testing please visit our athletics page: https://northamptonschools.org/project/athletics/ As a reminder – testing needs to be completed every other year and the test covers all sports for that season and the next.
Physicals need to be submitted and within 13 months to be able to tryout and participate. Please send those to my attention via e-mail or regular mail. If your doctor is unable to see you in time, sport physicals can be done at urgent care clinics to satisfy the requirement.
Indoor Track Registration is OPEN – While there is still some uncertainty over how the season and most importantly, practice will look… we’ve opened registration for indoor track. We are not able to use Smith College to train and with daylight ending shortly after the school day ends, the usual opportunity to train some before sundown is not available either. Our coaches are reaching out to Roots in Westfield at the possibility of having some practice opportunities there, but with rental costs and transportation logistics… we have to see if everything can fall together. For meets – the PVIAC is talking to Roots about the opportuntity to host some time trials and the MSTCA meets at the Reggie Lewis Center will provide our athletes competition opportunities.

Lastly, the winter sports preseason zoom meeting will take place next Monday November 15th at 7:00pm. Please see the below information to access that zoom. There will be sport meetings to follow the main meeting.
