Thank a Teacher with a donation to NEF

Please consider thanking a teacher with a donation to the Northampton Education Foundation.

Northampton’s teachers, principals, and staff members have gone above and beyond since the COVID pandemic began, educating and supporting our kids in an extraordinarily challenging learning environment. This holiday season, you can show your appreciation with a gift that will enrich their teaching and all of our public schools.

Your tax-deductible gift, in the name of a teacher, principal, or any staff member, will go to NEF’s Small Grants Program. This fund provides grants for teachers to create innovative projects, events, or opportunities that enhance student learning, professional development, and collaboration.

This year, NEF is funding projects in every school in the district. They include a STEM outreach initiative with students from NHS mentoring students in JFK and the elementary schools; a mural project with JFK and NHS students; and programs at Leeds and Bridge Street School engaging in anti-racist dialogue, learning, and practice, led by anti-racist educator Tiffany Jewell.

Please donate to NEF so we can say YES to more teachers in the future! The teacher you honor will receive a letter acknowledging your generous gesture, without revealing the amount. Gifts of any amount are welcome!

Donate online at northamptoneducation.org/donate-to-nef. Please indicate that your donation is for Teacher Appreciation and which teacher(s) or other staff members you’re honoring. Your special teacher(s) will receive a note acknowledging your support in their honor.
