Request for Proposals
Each year the PTO raises money to fund purchases and programs to enrich the educational experience of NHS students. As a result of the generosity of NHS families and the greater Northampton community, we are able again to issue a Request for Proposals to the teachers and staff of NHS.
If you would like to request funding for a program planned during the 2023-2024 school year, please download the RFP Form below (or CLICK HERE to download) and email to: nohopto@gmail.com with “2023-24 Funding Request” in subject line or put in PTO mailbox in the front office. A subcommittee of the PTO will meet with Principal Wehrli to review proposals and decide how to allocate the funds.
With this initiative, the PTO hopes to support your creativity and/or address some modest needs at NHS that may be unmet by the district budget. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

- Annual Student art exhibit: reception costs
- Paint for bathroom murals
- Ceramics club materials
- Bus to college fair for juniors
- College readiness for parents/guardians of juniors & seniors: 2 presenters
- ELL students and family breakfast to build community
- Nonfiction books for the library
- Six graphing calculators for special ed department
- Bus for genocide studies class to see the Reason to Remember exhibit at the Institute for Holocaust, Genocide, and Memory Studies at UMass
- Funding is for tshirts, league and exam fees, and gas for the Math Club/Team transportation
