The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association and Special Olympics Massachusetts selected the Northampton High School Unified Basketball Team as one of five throughout the state to receive the MIAA/Special Olympics Massachusetts Unified Basketball Team Sportsmanship Award for the 2021 season.
The award is presented in recognition of outstanding demonstration and commitment to the ideals of sportsmanship throughout the Unified Basketball season.
The award was presented during the MIAA/Special Olympics Massachusetts Unified Basketball Jamboree, held at Chicopee High School on Friday, November 19.
